Copper futures gain on higher spot demand

Copper prices on Wednesday rose Rs 1.65 to Rs 838.10 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in October traded higher Rs 1.65 or 0.2 per cent at Rs 838.10 per kg in a business turnover of 8,119 lots. Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants
